The advantages of the EpilaDermŽ-Sugarpaste method

The EpilaDermŽ-Sugarpaste compared to the traditional method of epilation

Traditional hair removal against the hair growth direction breaks more hairs!

Epilation

Other materials are typically applied onto the skin in the direction of hair growth and sink only very little into the hair follicle.

The epilation itself takes place against the dirction of hair growth whereby the hairs easier breaks off in the hair follicle.

Traditional hair removal against the hair growth direction can not remove very short hairs!

Epilation

Other materials are typically applied ontothe skin in the direction of hair growth and usually does not sink adequately deep into the hair follicle in order to adhere to the short hairs.

The short hair therefore is typically not removed.
Hair removal with EpilaDermŽ-Sugarpaste breaks less hairs!

Epilation

The sugar paste sinks, due to its soft consistency and the way of application onto the skin against the hair growth direction, deeper into the hair follicle thereby adhering better to the hair.

The hair is here removed in the direction of hair growth whereby less hairs brakes off in the hair follicle.

Further important advantages of the EpilaDermŽ-Sugarpaste method in summary

The sugar paste is used by normal body temperature;
which prevents heat induced blood circulation thereby making it suitable also for problematic skin.

The sugar paste does not adhere to the skin;
The sugar paste removes only the dead and dry skin cells similar to a soft skin peeling leading to an improvement of the skin condition. As the paste only adheres to the hair itself and not to the skin, the sensation of pain by the epilation is typically reduced. In addition it is possible to work with the paste at the same skin area several times without stressing the skin surface to much.

The sugar paste breaks less hairs by the epilation;
The sugar paste sinks, due to its soft consistency and the application onto the skin against the hair growth direction, deeper into the hair follicle thereby adhering better to the hair. This combined with the removal of the hair in the direction of growth leads to an improved root deep epilation with reduced sensation of pain for the customer as well as less hairs braking off in the hair follicle.

The epilation with the sugar paste also leads to a reduction of ingrown hairs;
As the hairs are removed in the direction of hair growth, the few hairs that eventually brakes off remains in the follicle in their natural growth direction. These hairs therefore tend to grow out again without growing into the follicle below the skin surface.

The sugar paste allows for the removal of very short hairs;
As mentioned above the sugar paste sinks deeper into the hairfollicle, which means that an effective hair removal can already be performed by a hair length of only 1 to 2 mm!

The sugar paste is water soluble;
The paste is therefore very easy to clean of skin and clothing. It also remains moist and flexible longer making it possible to use it on larger body parts, since it does not dry up and can easily be removed at any time from the skin.
